The PlanetPass payment system is designed to make transferring money between clients and guides as simple and reliable as possible, ensuring that both parties are protected against fraud as per our Terms and Conditions.
When a client submits a booking request, we hold the total sum in escrow, to ensure that there is enough money in their account to cover the total cost of the booking.
Final payment is only taken from the client's account upon tour completion. The tour is only considered to be completed once you have clicked <Finish Tour>, thus informing us that the service has been successfully provided.
Payouts for the guides are carried out on a weekly basis, on Tuesdays or Fridays, for bookings completed within the last week.
We take 30% commission in order to help PlanetPass run smoothly. The fee is charged from those orders that you have successfully provided and completed, which means that you've met the tourist and provided the tour as agreed.
